how come i feel...
things have changed?

no matter how hard you try to amend it.
or how hard you wish things were back to the same way they were.
reverse it.
or improve it,
it just gets you down.
and after putting up a fight that's futile,
you finally give in.
and leave it to be.

the only thing that's constant in this world...
is change.

and there's pretty much nothing we can do about it,
but resent to fate.
because aren't we all puppets?

no matter what we choose to believe in.
or that centre.or ground.or standing.
that's stable in our lives.

it's always when you've felt you've found that one special place, person or thing.
that's the most precious to you.
and suddenly.
a turn you take.
and then...
it's like you feel that the same one thing that brought you power, gave you strength. and made you stand on your feet...
couldn't brave the obstacles.
the storms.
the trials.
and change.

and then it hits you in the face.
swift.hard.and painful.

and then things just force you to look at life in a different manner.
feel it different.
cope and handle it different.

and it brings a pain in your heart.
an emptiness that you feel.
vacant.lonely.
even if you long for the way it used to be.
you know there's no turning back.
because things aren't as simple as you deem it to be.

and the people that so called said that there's a bond that can never be broken.
are pretty much obscured by illusions and fake visions.
because they will never realise.
that there will always be imperfections.
no matter how exquisite or beautiful.

that the "bond".
already has cracks.

but still.
they choose to be oblivious.

you.
as a person.
came into this world.
alone.
and when you are living that life.
that life belongs to you.
and only you.
and when you leave.
the soul is only.but yours.

but if there was one thing in this world.
we could find.
that one thing we would kill to protect.
perish by it.
and fight for it.
and hang on for dear life.
that one thing where happiness exists.
where even the impossible becomes reality.
and words aren't just.
an expression.
but a promise.
to be fulfilled.
not void.
not empty.

then maybe.
change would be an easier phase.
no matter how sudden, or unpredictable.
